If you want to stay up to date with the expected performance of your investments (and avoid the need to check their profiles from time to time), you can now set up automated expected performance alerts in Diversiview for up to 10 securities.
Too easy – you flag your favourites securities and we do the rest.
How to flag favourite securities
Simply go to that security’s Explore page (see “How to explore individual securities“), and click on the bookmark icon at the top right of the page.
You will get a message that the security has been successfully added to the list. If you reached the limit, you will get a message to that effect and the security will not be added to your favourites list.
You do this for all securities you want to flag (up to 10 per account).
At any time, you can see a list of all securities flagged as favourites in the My Account section (look for the “Favourite Securities” tab).
How to remove favourite securities
To remove favourite securities from your account, you have two options:
- go to the Explore page of that security and click the bookmark again; You will get a message that the security has been removed from the favourites list.
- go to the list of Favourite Securities in My Account section and click on the rubbish bin icon next to the security you want to remove from the list.
Automated Performance Alerts
Diversiview recalculates expected performance indicators on a weekly basis.
If you have securities flagged as favourites and if there has been a change in one of the alert indicators*, you will receive an email showing the changes and a visual indication of improvement (green arrow) or deterioration (red arrow).
*The 5 indicators shown in the expected performance email are:
- Expected Return (historical basis)
- Expected Return CAPM
- Volatility of returns
- Beta
- Sharpe ratio
The email will also include the date when the latest indicators were calculated and the date of the previous indicators values.
